Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has strengthened its presence in Southeast Asia by launching 21 electric motorcycle showrooms across the Philippines alongside three new electric bike models – Evo, Feliz II and Viper.
The move marks another major step in the company’s regional expansion and signals its ambition to make electric transport more accessible in one of Southeast Asia’s biggest motorcycle markets.
The newly opened dealerships, located in major cities across the country, will sell VinFast motorcycles while also providing servicing, battery support and customer assistance. The company says the network will continue to expand in the coming months.
The launch comes just weeks after VinFast’s early booking campaign attracted thousands of interested buyers, suggesting growing demand for electric motorcycles in the Philippines.
Rather than operating as ordinary dealerships, VinFast says its showrooms are designed to offer customers everything they need under one roof. Visitors can explore the bikes, take test rides, experience the company’s one-minute battery swapping system, learn about home charging options and receive after-sales support.
During the launch event, the company also unveiled its local pricing, battery subscription plans and wider infrastructure strategy.
One of its biggest promises is the planned installation of 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets across the Philippines through partnerships with infrastructure providers, making battery replacement quicker and more convenient for riders.
Throughout August 2026, VinFast will organise public test ride events at its dealerships, allowing potential buyers to experience the motorcycles, understand the battery technology and compare ownership options.
To encourage early buyers, participating dealerships will also roll out special discounts and promotional offers.
Speaking at the launch, Vo Thi Cam Tu, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast E-Scooters & E-Bikes for International Markets, said the company is making a long-term investment in the Philippines.
She said VinFast is not only introducing electric motorcycles but also building a complete ecosystem that includes charging solutions, battery services and customer support to make ownership easier and more convenient.
Each of the three motorcycles is designed for different types of riders.
The Evo focuses on everyday commuting, offering a top speed of 80 km/h and a range of up to 150 kilometres when fitted with two fully charged batteries.
The Feliz II delivers a higher top speed of 90 km/h, making it suitable for riders looking for greater flexibility.
The sportier Viper, aimed mainly at younger riders, produces 5,200 watts of power and also reaches 90 km/h, combining modern technology with a more dynamic riding experience.
All three motorcycles come with two under-seat battery compartments and support VinFast’s battery-swapping system. Customers can either buy the bikes with batteries included or choose a battery subscription plan, depending on their budget and riding habits.
As an added incentive, buyers will receive free battery swaps for one year at public stations operated by VinFast’s strategic partner V-Green, with up to 20 swaps each month for every motorcycle.
The motorcycles are also covered by a four-year warranty, with an additional extended warranty period subject to mileage limits, giving owners lower running costs and greater peace of mind.
The Philippine expansion follows VinFast’s recent launch of 20 electric motorcycle dealerships in Indonesia, reinforcing the company’s strategy of building a wider green transport network across Southeast Asia as more consumers consider cleaner and smarter mobility options.
