From Nigeria’s Six (6) Geo-Political Zones,
ONLY THREE LAWMAKERS PER ZONE will be honored.
This ensures: Regional balance, strict merit selection, national inclusiveness, credibility and transparency.
This is not about party lines.
This is about performance.
VOTING & NON-VOTING CATEGORIES.
The 2026 edition introduces both Voting and Non-Voting categories to guarantee fairness, public participation, and expert evaluation.
Voting Categories.
– Most Outstanding Senator of the Year ( Per Zone)
– Most Outstanding Member of the House of Representatives (Per Zone)
– Most Outstanding Speaker of the Year (Per Zone – State House of Assembly)
– Most Outstanding Parliamentary Staff of Year (NASS).
– Most Outstanding Legislative Aide of the Year.
– Most Outstanding Parliamentary News Reporter of the Year (Senate).
– Most Outstanding Parliamentary News Reporter of the Year (House of Representatives).
These categories will be decided through:
Public voting, legislative performance indicators,
media and policy impact review.
Non-Voting Categories.
Special recognitions based strictly on:
Legislative productivity, oversight effectiveness, constituency impact and Institutional leadership.

The official voting portal will soon be activated, giving Nigerians the opportunity to participate in celebrating excellence in representation.
