Tinubu Decries Renewed Killings in Plateau, Says Cycle of Violence “Must Stop Now”

President Bola Tinubu has voiced strong concern over the ongoing killings and widespread destruction in Plateau State, stressing that the unending cycle of violence must be brought to an end.

His remarks were conveyed in Jos by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who represented him at a major All Progressives Congress APC reception rally held on Sunday at the Jos Polo Field.

The rally, which drew thousands of party supporters, was organised to receive a significant number of defectors from various opposition parties into the APC.

In a statement issued by Akpabio’s media aide, Anietie Ekong, the President reaffirmed his determination to restore peace and stability in Plateau State, describing the prolonged bloodshed as unacceptable and deeply troubling.
