Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has won her first medal since 2022 after she clinched the silver medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
The world record holder ran 12.28 seconds to finish second behind Switzerland’s Ditaji Kambundji, who won gold in a new national record of 12.24 seconds.
Grace Stark of the United States finished third in 12.34 seconds, while her teammate Masai Russell came fourth in 12.44 seconds.
Amusan had impressed earlier in the day, winning her semifinal race in a time of 12.36 seconds.
