Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has denied widespread rumours of his death, stating categorically that he is alive, healthy, and in good spirits.
The actor made the clarification in a video posted on his official Instagram page, following viral claims that he had passed away after a prolonged battle with diabetes and undergoing spinal surgery.
In the video, Agu expressed disappointment at the ease with which people believe unverified reports, blaming attention-seeking bloggers for spreading the falsehood.
He further warned that such false reports can cause unnecessary panic among family, fans, and colleagues, urging his followers to report the social media pages spreading the rumour.
