Popular businessman and nightlife mogul, Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed that he won’t be able to attend the highly anticipated wedding of Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido in the United States after being denied a visa.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the socialite expressed mixed emotions as the reality sank in that he would miss his best friend’s big day this Saturday.
“I woke up this morning with mixed feelings,” he said, noting the disappointment of being absent from such a significant event.
Cubana also used the moment to appeal to the Nigerian government and the US Embassy in Nigeria for help in securing a visa.
“I appreciate the bashing, because that has given me multiple reasons and proof to apply again @usinnigeria. Do it for me this time. You can clearly see how disappointed and hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding. I’m wishing my best friend @davido & his beautiful wife @thechefchi an amazing wedlock,” he wrote.
Despite his absence, he sent his warmest wishes to the couple, promising his unwavering support from afar.
