Marking his Two-Year Anniversary of Impactful representation in office, Honourable Member Representing the Isuikwuato and Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah is set to launch one of the largest empowerment initiatives in the history of Abia North, which is a ₦1 billion Mega Empowerment for Constituency improvement.

Portfolio Media Activities, reports that Hon. Ogar, will use the same medium to brief his consistency of the delivery of mandate to constituents.

While examining his strides in our signature Programme tagged: “You, Your Constituency and Governance” , Portfolio Media gathered that in a world where transparency and accountability is in a short supply, Hon Ogah can be said to be in the service of God and humanity.

Needless to underscore his legislative activism and national Visibility, evidently shown in the strategic role he played in strengthening Nigeria’s public health systems, as the Chairman of the House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Control where Ogarh has driven major initiatives, including the 2025 parliamentary probe into the utilisation of billions of dollars in global Health grants to Nigeria; a probe Portfolio Media described as one of the boldest steps toward transparency and accountability in recent years.

Unlike some parliamentarians who haven’t tendered any bill or motion, Hon. Ogah has also been vocal on infrastructural justice. His motion on the long-neglected Mmam Bridge, destroyed during the civil war and never reconstructed, endeared national attention and led to a House resolution demanding urgent action.

As a transformer of communities, his constituency’s interventions have been both widespread and impactful, opening and rehabilitating key access roads, including the leading road to Ulonna North Farm Settlement which is significantly boosting agricultural productivity and enhancing market access.

Again, with the Installation of solar-powered boreholes across Uturu, Isuikwuato, Isuochi, Umu-Chiezé and Nneato, Hon. Ogah has eased the long decades of water scarcity.

Despite the refurbishment and solarisation of the abandoned Isuikwuato General Hospital, his secured approval to convert Achara Community Hospital into an annex of the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Ogah has expanded access to quality medical care.

Also, the legislator per excellence, has had the understanding of what it means to engage his constituents from every quota as he in August 2024, held the first-ever constituency-wide town hall meeting, a meeting which allowed residents to present needs, concerns and development priorities directly.

Hon. Amobi Ogah has remained a strong advocate for fairness in Nigeria’s education sector, especially when the JAMB and WAEC irregularities caused widespread concern, he was one of the most vocal lawmakers who condemned claims that the South East benefited from the examination errors, insisting on truth and accountability.

Beyond advocacy, Hon. Ogah has consistently invested in the future of young people through the countless scholarships he has awarded to students in his constituency.

An action which reflect a leader committed not only to speaking out but also to creating tangible opportunities for growth.

His empowerment programmes have also been transformational, in November 2024, he distributed vehicles, tricycles, machines, agricultural tools and other livelihood support items to boost small businesses and household income.

Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah is a reflection of purposeful, people centred leadership in Abia State, his two-years journey into the House of Representatives has shown that he is a true parliamentarian who truly knows that representation is a call for action, not just lawmaking, but law-doing.

The exceptional representative of his people Hon. Ogah, was born in 1980. He is also an accomplished entrepreneur who founded the Pauli-Mama Group of Companies, a conglomerate spanning oil & gas, agricultural, manufacturing, trading, hospitality and more industries.

Though, the organisation’s thousands of employees, gave him early exposure to business management, job creation and organisational leadership but his entry into politics came with challenges.

In 2019, he contested for the same seat under a different party and lost, but with characteristic resilience, he re-strategised and won in 2023 under the Labour Party platform, when he defeated a long-standing incumbent to win the mandate of the people.

There’s no gainsaying that Hon. Ogah is an exceptional Praliamentarian, a reformer, grassroots mobiliser, a true champion of community who combines his business acumen, youthful energy and deep commitment to public service.

Just two years in office yet, a true reflection of iconoclastic, strong legislative performance in constituency development, which has been touching nearly every community in Isuikwuato and Umunneochi.

Xraying the 2025 Historic “1 Billion Naira Mega Empowerment Programmes” accross his constituency, Portfolio Media gathered that Hon. Ogah’s empowerment model is not just about giving items; it is about creating sustainable income streams, supporting youths and women entrepreneurship.

For many families, this programme represents a direct economic lifeline, an opportunity to start or grow small businesses amid nationwide economic difficulties.

This intervention will provide thousands of constituents with tools to build and expand businesses.
