The Executive Chairman Biase Local government Edodi Eyong Edodi Endoreses National Youth Council of Nigeria Biase Chapter (NYCN).

In a remarkable show of leadership and commitment to youth development, the Executive Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, *Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi,* has thrown his full support behind the forthcoming Biase Youth Opportunity Summit, an initiative of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Biase Chapter.

During the courtesy visit paid to him by the leadership of the Youth Council, Hon. Edodi

> commended the tireless efforts and visionary planning of the organizers in conceptualizing an event aimed at empowering the youth and creating opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. He described the summit as a timely and strategic platform for mobilizing Biase youth toward innovation, productivity, and peacebuilding.

The Chairman went further to announce his intention to co-host the event, assuring that all elected representatives and appointed officials of Biase LGA will be in attendance to show solidarity and support for the youth. He also used the opportunity to encourage young people to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration process, emphasizing that civic engagement remains one of the strongest tools for change. In his words, he urged the youth to *“shun violence at all costs and promote peace, unity, and progress across Biase.”*

 

The visit was ably led by *Hon. Benjamin Francis* (Special Adviser on Youth and Sports), His Youthfulness *Comr. Ibe God’sday Ukam,* Coordinator of NYCN Biase Chapter, *Comr. Arikpo Solomon James,* Chairman Elder Council, members of the NYCN Chapter Executive, and members of the Elder Council.

With the endorsement of the Executive Chairman, optimism continues to build around the Biase Youth Opportunity Summit, which has been described as a success on arrival. The event is set to become the largest and most impactful gathering of young people in Biase and across the South-South region, serving as a defining moment in the quest for youth inclusion and empowerment.
