MACS Foundation Appoints Lanre-Oke, Advisory Board Chairman

 

‎The non-governmental organization Mariam-Atswandeh Cancer Support Foundation has appointed Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke as chairman of the advisory board at the official launching of the foundation in Abuja.

‎The appointment was confirmed on Saturday, at an inauguration ceremony as part of the activities for the official launch of the Mariam-Atswandeh Cancer Support Foundation, aimed at creating awareness on breast cancer.

‎According to the founder/convener, Mariam Oluwaseun Atswandeh, also a breast cancer survivor, the choice of Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke as the chairman of the advisory board was a straightforward decision.

‎”His standout qualities, leadership legacy, philanthropy prowess, and fatherly disposition towards everyone around him, the decision to choose Dr. Femi as the Chairman was an easy one to make,” said Mariam.

‎Other members of the 7-man advisory board are Nneoma Ofodile, Ajoke Monsurat Ifeajika, Ogbonna Ukuku, Oluwole Odujiko, Obiageri Lovina Onuoha, and Barrister Babajide Sholake.

‎Lanre-Oke, in his remarks, said he sees the opportunity as a call to service.

‎”It is an honor and privilege to be called unto this role.

‎”I see this as an opportunity to serve and do more for the community.

‎”It is a call to action and a privilege,” said Lanre-Oke.

‎Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke, an ICT expert, administrator, life coach, and author who is passionate about faith, transformation, and empowerment, would chair the Mariam-Atswandeh Cancer Support Foundation advisory board with the aim to provide awareness, help, and support to breast cancer patients.
