England manager Thomas Tu-chel has left Trent Alexander-Arnold out of his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia. The right-back, who moved from Liverpool to Real Madrid in the summer, was part of Tu-chel’s previous squad but has now been dropped after recently being left out of Madrid’s win over Real O-vie-do.
The latest selection includes first-time call-ups for Elliot Anderson and Totten-ham full-back Spence. Meanwhile, Everton’s Jack Greal-lish, despite a strong performance against Brighton last weekend, has been overlooked.
There are recalls for Marcus Rashford and Adam Wharton, while experienced midfielder Jordan Henderson retains his place at 35.
