Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is scheduled to present the 2026 draft budget to the State House of Assembly on Wednesday, November 12.
This was confirmed by the Speaker of the Assembly, during the plenary session today in Osogbo. He said the governor had sent a formal letter to the Assembly notifying them of his intention to lay the draft budget before lawmakers.
According to the letter, the governor stated that all preparations and approvals for the budget had been completed by the State Executive Council. He emphasized that presenting the draft estimates to the Assembly is in line with existing rules and regulations, which require the budget to be submitted for approval before the end of the year – preceding its implementation.
