Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has expressed joy over the release of her brother, Sammy West, who was granted bail following allegations linked to her marital issues with Senator Ned Nwoko.
West’s bail was set at N5 million and secured by a legal team led by human rights lawyer Marshal Abubakar. The case has been adjourned to November 28 for further proceedings.
Daniels took to social media to thank her fans and well-wishers for their support during her brother’s detention, describing the outpouring of love as heart-warming and making her feel valued.
The ongoing marital disputes between Daniels and Nwoko have seen both parties trade accusations. Nwoko has accused Daniels of substance abuse and urged her to seek rehabilitation, while Daniels has accused him of domestic violence, intimidation, and controlling behaviour.
