NFF Appoints Journalist Koki As Media Officer

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed journalist and football commentator Dorcas Koki as the new Media Officer of the U17 women’s national team, the 

Flamingos.

According to the NFF, Koki, based in Port Harcourt and working with NigeriaInfo FM, brings years of experience in sports broadcasting, with a strong record in covering both local and international events.

She will now  take over from Monsurah Olatunji, who held the role at the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.

The new Media Officer is expected to drive fresh digital content, deeper fan connection, and authentic storytelling to enhance the team’s profile both locally and internationally.

Meanwhile, the Flamingos will resume camping on Sunday as preparations begin for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for 17 October to 8 November in Morocco.
