NASARAWA UNITED LEAD the Pecking order in Match-Day 14 Team-of- the – Week List.

Deadly attacker, Anas Yusuf, who took his goal tally for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League Season to 6 last weekend, was unarguably listed in the match-day fourteen Team-Of-The-Week register.

Anas scored twice in Nasarawa United’s 3-0 thrashing of hapless El-Kanemi Warriors at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday, 23rd November, 2025.

After netting from the spot, the weapon of mass destruction made it a brace in the game that also saw youngster, Garba Mohammed, scoring from a tight angle.

For his rock solid defensive ingenuity for the Solid Miners during the weekend, Centre Back, Utake Emmanuel, also got listed in the Team-Of-The-Week.

The fair-skinned no-nosense central defender maintained a water-tight backline while also forcing attack against the opponents, to the applause of the spectators at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday evening.

Technical Adviser, Mangut Mbwas, continued to dominate headlines as one of the most tactically endowed coaches in the elite domestic football league, as he was voted Coach of match-day 14 Team-Of-The-Week, ahead of nineteen others.

Coach Mangut Mbwas led Nasarawa United to the biggest win of match-day 14, as the Solid Miners mauled their Northern counterparts, El-Kanemi Warriors 3-0.

Out of the team’s last five matches, the Coach Mangut Mbwas-tutored United won two drew two and lost one game, respectively, picking up eight points from a possible fifteen.

Sacked from his previous role at neighbouring Plateau United FC, Mangut has continued to prove many naysayers wrong, as his side, Nasarawa United FC, currently tops the NPFL table with 27 points from 14 games.
