Federal Government Launches Nationwide Online Classes

The Federal Ministry of Education has launched the Inspire Lives Online Real-Time Classes Initiative, a nationwide digital learning programme aimed at expanding access to quality education for Nigerian schoolchildren.

According to a ministry statement signed by Director of Press and Public Relations Folasade Boriowo, the initiative aligns with President Bola  Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and addresses long-standing challenges in the education sector, including teacher shortages and learning disruptions.

Minister of Education Tunji Alausa confirmed the programme is fully underway, with live interactive lessons currently available for Junior and Senior Secondary School students. Classes run Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., delivered by certified teachers using Cisco Webex.
