Breaking news: Group Unvails 5 Million – Man Flagship endorsement March For Tinubu Re-election.

The group Forward With Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 has unveiled its flagship programme—a 5 million-man march and endorsement rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 reelection bid.

According to the group, the purpose of the 5 million-man march is to appreciate the President for what it described as his “giant strides” over the past two years, reassure him that the entire Southern region is comfortable with his leadership, and encourage him to seek a second term in office.

The group stated that Forward With BAT 2027 is currently mobilising well-meaning Nigerians through extensive consultations with critical stakeholders across the country. The group added that it is engaging progressive-minded individuals to support the renewal of the presidential mandate freely given to Tinubu in the 2023 elections.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, Comrade Peter Ikpen Ilefa, Director-General of Forward With Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027, described the organisation as an independent campaign body focused on grassroots mobilisation and house-to-house sensitisation for President Tinubu’s reelection.

“This dream was birthed a year ago by men and women of like minds, with a few key figures at the topmost echelon of our political space. I was overwhelmingly chosen to drive the process of making 4BAT the vehicle for renewing President Tinubu’s mandate under the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he said.

He noted that the group has been consulting widely across geopolitical zones—meeting political leaders, ministers, governors, lawmakers at both national and state levels, commissioners, local government chairmen, councillors, traditional rulers, and the business community—on behalf of 4BAT.

“A number of political heavyweights have already vowed to deliver their constituencies for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027. There is widespread assurance across the country that the President will secure a glowing return in 2027,” he added.

Ilefa stated that 4BAT operates a structure that extends from the geopolitical zones down to the polling unit level, describing it as “stronger and more loyal to the cause than a political party.” According to him, “4BAT disciples are everywhere in the country mobilising support for President Tinubu’s return to power in 2027.”

He argued that many Nigerians have resolved to reelect President Tinubu because of what he described as the successes of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“While I will not bore you with the long list of President Tinubu’s achievements, infrastructural development in the FCT speaks for itself. The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway are just a tip of the iceberg among numerous legacy projects across the country,” he said.

Ilefa said Nigeria had faced multifaceted institutional challenges—from insecurity to economic and sociopolitical crises—but President Tinubu recognised that the nation’s problems were foundational and therefore adopted a bottom-up approach to solving them.

He highlighted the removal of the fuel subsidy on Tinubu’s first day in office as a decisive action that stopped revenue leakages and increased funds available to government.

“That masterstroke decision blocked a major conduit pipe used by oil cartels to siphon government resources. State allocations have tripled, giving states more resources to fund development projects,” he said.

He added that the President restored financial autonomy to local governments, increased workers’ minimum wage, and introduced student loans through NELFUND—“a move that has relieved parents and given hope to Nigerian youth.” He also noted the increase of NYSC allowance from N30,000 to N70,000.

Ilefa further stated that President Tinubu’s policies have strengthened macroeconomic indicators, boosted investor confidence, and attracted foreign direct investment.

According to him, the administration’s tax reforms expected to take full effect by 2026 will eliminate multiple taxation, exempt low-income earners from paying taxes, and remove tax burdens from businesses earning between N50 million and N100 million annually. He said these reforms will encourage MSME growth, boost local enterprises, expand job opportunities, and increase internally generated revenue.

On insecurity, Ilefa said President Tinubu has made significant progress despite the complex and evolving nature of the threat.

“A typical example is the peace that has returned to Southern Kaduna, once a theatre of killings. People can now travel through Kaduna from Abuja and other parts of the North-West without fear. Communities that were sacked have been recovered, clashes have reduced, and normal life is returning,” he said.

He dismissed claims of genocide in Nigeria, insisting that insecurity is a global issue. He commended the armed forces for their efforts in restoring peace.

He argued that the Nigerian economy is recovering strongly, with key sectors such as agriculture, banking, finance, and housing “breathing healthily,” while education and health are undergoing aggressive reforms.

“Nigeria is smiling into greatness. Nigerians are embracing reality and hopeful for full economic rejuvenation. There is more hope among Nigerians today as we collectively evolve into a great nation under God,” he added.
