Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has announced that his administration has set aside over N800 million to support non-indigenous communities residing in the state, including the Igbo, Arewa, Yoruba, and Niger Delta groups.
The governor made the disclosure while addressing members of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Worldwide, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, during the Igbo Unity Day Celebration.
Governor Eno reaffirmed his commitment to promoting unity, inclusion, and peaceful coexistence, stressing that all residents, regardless of ethnic origin, are important contributors to the state’s development.
Eno also expressed gratitude to Ohaneze Ndi Igbo for naming him Grand Patron and for supporting the 2027 re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and himself.
