The Member representing Biase State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. (Engr.) Francis Ogban, joined other lawmakers of the Cross River State Assembly at a budget retreat held in Abuja.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Ogban expressed gratitude to Almighty God for making the retreat a reality.
He commended His Excellency, Apostle Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to fostering a harmonious working relationship with members of the Legislative Assembly. Hon. Ogban described the 10th Assembly as “an Assembly par excellence” with numerous achievements to its credit.
The lawmaker also lauded Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, for his steadfast dedication to promoting unity, peace, and cooperation among members.
Hon. Ogban emphasized that the budget retreat serves as a vital exercise aimed at enhancing legislative efficiency and enriching the overall activities of the Assembly.
As part of the retreat, the lawmakers paid a courtesy visit to Onun (Dr.) Emil Inyang, Member representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
