NFF Extends Contract Of Super Falcons Coach Madugu By Two Years.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed a two-year contract for Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu, following his historic triumph at the last CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Madugu led the Falcons to their record 10th African title, coming from behind to defeat hosts Morocco in a thrilling final, a victory that reaffirmed Nigeria’s dominance in women’s football across Africa.

NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi announced the decision on Friday, noting that it followed detailed reviews by the Federation’s Technical Committee and Technical Department.

Though salary details were not disclosed, Madugu’s new deal will see him lead Nigeria to the next WAFCON in 2026, which will be hosted again by Morocco and feature 16 teams for the first time.
