Good legacy has earned the Deputy Chief of Staff to Cross River State a Chirleftancy tittle Yesterday, 12th of October, 2025, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Chief (Hon.) Boniface Okache was conferred with a Chieftancy title of ‘Oyame I’ of Utukpo by the good people of Okpoma in recognition of his Commitment to Community Empowerment and Development.
The event brought together several top government functionaries and dignitaries, including the former Ag. Governor, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Members of Cross River State House of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen, Councilors, traditional rulers, political stakeholders, members of the press and community leaders among several others.
Professor Ochugudu, a Senatorial hopeful in the 2027, was also in attendance to grace the occasion. He congratulated Chief (Hon.) Boniface Okache on his conferment with the exalted Chieftancy title, and reminded him that the honor is a call for more service and dedication to the development of Yala and Northern Cross River State at large.
Professor Ipuele’s presence at the event reinforces his respect for political leaders and commitment to supporting grassroots development, peace, unity, and cultural heritage in the Northern Cross River.
