VICE PRESIDENT KASSIN SHETTIMA DEPART ABUJA FOR NEW YORk TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 80th SESSION OF UNITED NATION ASSEMBLY.

Shettima is representing President Tinubu and is expected to deliver Nigeria’s national statement during the high-level General Debate this Tuesday.

His itinerary also includes several side events with world leaders, including the UN’s special session on climate, where he will announce Nigeria’s new Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement.

Shettima is also slated to attend the high-level roundtable of the Global Champions on Adequate and Affordable Housing to be hosted by the Kenyan President William Ruto on September 24.

After attending UNGA, he will depart New York for Frankfurt, Germany, where he is expected to meet with officials of the Deutche Bank before returning to Nigeria.
