The National Examinations Council NECO has officially released the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination SSCE for internal candidates, 54 days after the final paper was written.
Announcing the release during a press conference in Minna, Niger State, today, NECO Registrar Ibrahim Wushishi revealed that out of 1,358,339 candidates who sat for the June/July exams, 818,492 candidates representing 60.26% obtained five credits and above, including Mathematics and English.
Wushishi further stated that a total of 1,144,496 candidates, or 84.26%, secured five credits and above in all subjects, irrespective of English and Mathematics.
NECO also reported a significant drop in examination malpractice cases noting that a total of 3,878 cases were recorded in 2025, a 61.58% decrease compared to 10,094 cases in 2024.
