FIFA has named Gabonese referee Pierre Atcho to take charge of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa next Tuesday in Bloemfontein.
Atcho will be supported by fellow Gabonese officials Boris Ditsoga and Amos Ndong, with Cregue Moukagni as fourth official.
The referee assessor is Olivier Kabene from DR Congo, while Ugandan Mike Letti will serve as commissioner.
Meanwhile, Chadian referee Allaou Mahamat will handle Nigeria’s Matchday 7 tie with Rwanda this Saturday in Uyo.
Mahamat will be assisted by countrymen Bogollah Issa and Moussa Hafiz, with Abdelkerim Ousmane as fourth official.
Egypt’s Taher Mahmoud has been appointed referee assessor, while Bakary Jammeh of Gambia will serve as commissioner.
Both fixtures are crucial as Nigeria continue their push for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup
qualifier against South Africa next Tuesday
