Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has ordered the immediate suspension of the state’s Commissioner for Health, Yunusa Musa Ismail, over allegations of negligence and failure to effectively carry out his official duties.

The suspension was announced through a statement released by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahayya Sarki. According to the statement, the commissioner has been directed to provide a detailed explanation addressing the allegations against him. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice.

Governor Idris reiterated his administration’s dedication to accountability, discipline, and efficient service delivery across all sectors. He emphasized that individuals entrusted with public office must consistently earn and maintain the trust of the people.
