Ganduje Fires Back: ‘I’m Not Dumping APC, I’m Loyal to Tinubu’

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has dismissed rumours that he plans to defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Reports had circulated that Ganduje and his loyalists were preparing to dump the ruling APC following his resignation as party chairman in June. But Ganduje, through his spokesman Edwin Olofu, branded the story as fake news.

Addressing journalists on Saturday, Olofu stressed that Ganduje remains a staunch supporter of President Bola Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Ganduje is a committed member of the APC who is not just a loyal party man but also loyal to the President and his Renewed Hope Agenda. So, ignore those saying he is planning to leave the APC. It is just fake news,” Olofu said.

Ganduje, who resigned from his APC chairmanship citing health concerns, has now made it clear that he is not abandoning the ruling party.
