Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has dissolved the State Executive Council, marking the end of the cabinet’s tenure.
The announcement was made during a council meeting at the Government House chamber in Minna. Governor Bago expressed appreciation to the commissioners and other cabinet members for their contributions to the state’s development and wished them success in their future endeavours.
However, the governor confirmed that some key officials will remain in office. These include the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers directly attached to his office.
