Liverpool boss Arne Slot has hailed a “moment of magic” after his side edged Arsenal 1-0 at Anfield to go top of the Premier League table.
The match was cagey, with both sides pressing aggressively. Arsenal shaded the first half, but Szoboszlai’s strike in the second period made the difference.
“In the first half they pressed us well and had the upper hand,” Slot admitted. “But in the second half, we pressed really well. In the end, a magical moment won it for us. It wasn’t tactics—just quality.”
Liverpool now sit pretty at the summit with nine points from three games.
