Afrobeats legend Innocent “2Face” Idibia has passed the crown to Burna Boy, naming him Nigeria’s top artist right now.
“On a personal level, Burna Boy is my number one,” the African Queen crooner told Urban FM in Enugu. “Among all the others, he is the senior. There are others coming up behind him, but for now, he’s leading.”
The endorsement from one of Nigeria’s most respected musicians further cements Burna’s place at the summit of global Afrobeats.
