Popular actress, Osas Ighodaro, has shared her experience of her first on-screen kiss in the Nigerian movie industry, describing it as a shocking encounter.
Speaking on The Culture League podcast, Osas said she moved to Nigeria from the United States in 2012 and did not expect what happened during the kiss scene.
She explained that the actor used his tongue without prior discussion, contrary to professional standards in the film industry.
Her words: “My first on-screen kiss in Nigeria took me by surprise. Though I knew the kiss was coming, in my experience you are not supposed to put your tongue down somebody’s mouth unless it’s discussed beforehand.”
The revelation has sparked conversations on Nollywood’s need for improved professionalism and respect for boundaries on set.
