Israeli Airstrikes Kills 4 In Southern Syria

At least four people were killed on Tuesday in multiple Israeli airstrikes across southern Syria. Syrian state media revealed that the attacks come as Israel continues military operations targeting the country’s new leadership, even while engaging in diplomatic talks.

An official at Syria’s defence ministry told newsmen that some Syrian soldiers were killed in the  strike near Damascus while the country’s foreign ministry condemned the attacks, calling them a flagrant violation of the UN Charter, international law, and Security Council resolutions.

The ministry further criticized Israeli forces for their incursion into towns in the Quneitra countryside, arrests of civilians, and continued military presence on Mount Hermon and in the UN buffer zone.

Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned the airstrikes, describing them as a blatant breach of Syrian sovereignty and international law. Similarly, Qatar called on the international community to take decisive action to halt Israel’s repeated attacks on Syrian territory.
