Excited Orji Kalu Reveals How He’s Spending Annual Recess

The Chairman Senate Committee on the South East Development Commission, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has revealed how he is currently spending the annual recess

In a social media post on Sunday, Kalu, who is representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly said he has been enjoying close relationship with his family members and constituents.

He said, “During Mass today, I appreciated God for life, my family and my constituency.

“Since I was elected as a senator, I consider two duties as primary to me among many others.

“These are parental duties and constituency duties.

“Senate recess gives me opportunity to perform my parental duties and it has contributed in the performances of my children both academic and personal developments.

“My two last children Olivia and Nicole are preparing for school resumption and I am glad with their academic performances.

“My first daughter Neya graduated with Second Class Upper in Law, Michael graduated with First Class in Law , Zina graduated with first class in Law, Olivia who is rounding up with high grades will also graduate with first class in Economics.

“Their academic performance has nothing to do with financial strength as they all went to Ivy League schools.

“Admission of students in Ivy League schools is strictly on academic merit and I am hopeful that Nicole will emulate her siblings and make first class like them.

“My Constituency care continues immediately with senate resumption and I am hopeful of a greater and improved representation for my people.

“We will continue to project our constituency by ensuring that Abia North enjoys quality representation with more projects in the zone.”
