Benue Speaker Aondona Dajoh Resigns

Just hours before Emberga’s election, former Speaker Aondona Dajoh announced his resignation.

In a handwritten letter dated 24th August 2025 and shared on Facebook with the caption “Let there be peace,” Dajoh said he stepped aside in good faith.

“I thank my colleagues for giving me the opportunity to serve as the first among equals. I remain committed to representing the people of Gboko West Constituency,” he wrote.
