President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians living abroad to actively contribute to the country’s development, saying Nigeria is on the path to economic stabilization and growth.
Speaking during an interactive session with the Nigerian community in Japan on the sidelines of the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development, President Tinubu highlighted efforts to reverse negative trends and promote prosperity for citizens at home and abroad.
Officials and private sector leaders attending the meeting praised the administration’s economic reforms, including exchange rate liberalization and fuel subsidy removal, which have attracted foreign investment.
The President of the Nigerian Union in Japan, Emeka Egbogota, expressed the community’s support for Tinubu’s agenda, describing his presence at TICAD9 as a unifying and inspiring event.
