US and EU Conclude Record-Breaking Trade Agreement

The United States and the European Union have concluded what is being described as the largest trade deal in history, following high-level talks in Scotland. The pact, announced by President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von-der-Leyen, has sparked mixed reactions across both sides of the Atlantic.

For President Trump, the agreement is being hailed as a political win, with analysts suggesting it will bring tens of billions of dollars into US coffers through import tariffs.

However, critics warn that the long-term impact on inflation and consumer prices could undermine the gains.
