Gov Lawal: I’m Not Leaving PDP

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has dismissed rumours of plans to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC.

Speaking on Channels TV, he insisted: “I am still in PDP and have no intention of going anywhere.”

Lawal said he is confident of defeating opposition figures like former governors Sani Yerima and Bello Matawalle again in 2027, just as he did in 2023.

While acknowledging internal PDP issues, he maintained the party is already working to resolve them.
