Chelsea’s owners, BlueCo, have agreed a €20 million deal with Brighton for Paraguay forward Julio Enciso.
The 21-year-old will first join Strasbourg – also owned by BlueCo – before eventually linking up with Chelsea.
Enciso, who signed for Brighton from Libertad in 2022, scored five goals in 57 appearances but his progress has been blighted by injuries, including a torn meniscus that sidelined him for six months last year.
BlueCo’s Brighton shopping spree continues with this transfer, having already brought Marc Cucurella, Moises Caicedo, Robert Sanchez and Joao Pedro to Stamford Bridge.
