Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has warned new manager Ruben Amorim that patience is a rare commodity at Old Trafford.
While urging the club to give Amorim enough time to build, Evra compared United’s inconsistency to a kitchen with too many chefs.
“One day they make you dream, the next they break your heart. If you keep changing the chef, the soup will never taste right. But at United, time is expensive,” he told Stake.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, United have hired five permanent managers and four interim bosses. Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag in November 2024, but his first season saw United finish 15th in the league and lose the Europa League final to Tottenham.
