CHAN 2024: 15-Year-Old Harcourt Makes Super Eagles History

Teenage goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt has made history as the youngest player to feature for the Super Eagles.

The 15-year-old Sporting Lagos shot-stopper debuted in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Congo at the CHAN 2024 in Dar es Salaam, keeping a clean sheet.

Already the first-choice keeper for the Flying Eagles, Harcourt was part of the team that won bronze at this year’s U-20 AFCON.

He is expected to join the U-20 camp ahead of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
