The All Progressives Congress (APC) has pulled off a landslide victory in the Edo Central Senatorial by-election, with Honourable Dr Joseph Ikpea emerging as Senator-elect.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ikpea winner after he secured 105,129 votes, dwarfing his rival Joe Okojie of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled just 15,146.
A breakdown of the results shows APC’s dominance across all five local governments:

With this emphatic win, Joseph Ikpea now takes his place in the Senate, cementing APC’s grip on Edo Central and reshaping political momentum in Esanland.
