Security operatives have captured a suspected bandit alive during a daring midnight operation in Kuki, Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State, in the early hours of Friday, August 8, 2025.
In a video posted on X by counterterrorism analyst Zagazola Makama, the suspect is seen in custody, undergoing interrogation.
During questioning, the man claimed a local resident known as “Master” had invited them into the area.
Makama reported that the arrest followed a fierce gunfight between troops and the attackers, who had slipped into the town under the cover of darkness.
The soldiers’ rapid response forced the remaining gunmen to flee, bringing the attempted assault to a swift end.
