The Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) has lifted its supply ban on telecoms infrastructure firm IHS and other operators, averting a potential network blackout.
The suspension of services last week was over multi-billion-naira debts. NOGASA President Bennett Okorie said the decision to resume followed assurances from the National Security Adviser’s office and the NCC that the debts would be settled.
Supplies will resume from Monday, 11 August 2025, but Okorie warned the service withdrawal would return in seven days if payments were not made.
“All suppliers are hereby directed to resume business with IHS immediately — 24 hours round the clock if possible — to recover lost time,” he said.
