NNPC Retail Limited has sacked a pump attendant and suspended a station manager after a viral video exposed an attempt to cheat a customer at its Ikorodu, Lagos outlet.
The company said it acted swiftly after an internal investigation confirmed misconduct, describing the act as “completely unacceptable” and contrary to its values.
Alongside the dismissals, the station’s dealer received a formal warning. NNPC urged customers to report such incidents using hotlines displayed at all stations.
