Afrobeats megastar Davido has revealed that preparations for his white wedding to wife Chioma have already gulped a staggering $3.7 million in cash.
“This wedding will be madness,” the 32-year-old singer declared in a video posted by fellow artiste Teni. “We’ve spent $3.7 million in cash. You should know what’s coming.”
It will be the couple’s third ceremony, after a court wedding in March 2023 and a lavish traditional celebration in Lagos in June 2024.
The lovebirds touched down in Miami this week aboard a private jet decked out with flowers and a chair marked “MRS” — a not-so-subtle nod to the romance in the air.
Pre-wedding party clips showed Davido in a white hat, blue suit jacket, crisp trousers and Ankara draped over his shoulder. Chioma turned heads in a short white dress as guests walked past a giant sign reading: “Chivido. Miami. 2025.”
