The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has clarified that its result checker portal has been temporarily shut down.
In a public notice shared via its official X handle WAEC informed the general public that the result checker portal @waecdirect.org is temporarily shut down due to technical issues.
WAEC further appealed for patience from candidates and stakeholders and stated that it is working assiduously to ensure that candidates are able to access their results in the next 24 hours.
The update came just days after the council formally announced the release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results via its verified social media handles.
