India’s stock markets ended today’s session on a positive note, lifted by strong performances in the Metals, Real Estate, and Auto sectors. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.64 percent, while the BSE Sensex 30 rose by 0.52 percent, signaling investor confidence amid sectoral strength.
Hero Moto-Corp led the gains on the Nifty 50, jumping over 5percent to close at ₹4,541.90, followed by Tata Steel with a 4.08percent rise, and Adani Ports, which climbed 3.56percent to ₹1,395.00. On the BSE Sensex, Tata Steel, Adani Ports, and Tata Consultancy Services were the top performers, with TCS advancing by 2.55 percent.
On the downside, Power Grid Corporation, HDFC Bank, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation were among the worst performers on both indices. Power Grid slipped over 1percent, while HDFC Bank and ONGC posted modest losses.
