Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has donated seven new buses to the state Ministry of Justice to enhance the delivery of justice and improve operational efficiency across the legal system.
The donation, facilitated through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, was officially handed over to the ministry today.
In a statement issued by the ministry, the Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Lawal Pedro, described the gesture as a significant support for the state’s justice administration. He expressed gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu, noting that the buses would aid in streamlining legal processes and improving mobility for legal personnel.
According to Pedro, two of the buses will be used to transport suspects to and from court, while another two have been allocated to the Special Taskforce on Human Trafficking. The remaining three will support the movement of legal teams across the state.
