President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Kebbi State, Mohammed Nasir Idris, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader dedicated to the socio-economic transformation of the state.
In a statement released today by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Governor Idris for his purposeful leadership, commitment to peace, unity, and progress, and his tireless efforts to improve the lives of Kebbi people.
President Tinubu also lauded Idris’s achievements in labour leadership, especially his longstanding advocacy for workers’ welfare and contributions to Nigeria’s education sector.
Governor Idris, a former President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers was elected in 2023 and is widely recognised for his grassroots development initiatives and worker-friendly policies.
